Philippians 4:8 FREE Printable! {Expired}

So, I've been really neglecting this blog...I haven't even really been diligent about keeping up my other blog, for those of you who know me there....But, getting a house ready to put on the market, starting a new bible study, potting training a 2.5 year old and still managing the household and working part time, I'd say are pretty good excuses, right??  Ok, well I'm here to make up for that, hopefully, with a new FREE printable I designed... {Free printable expired, please click HERE to purchase on my ETSY shop, or click on the print samples below}

Remember that new bible study I mentioned?  Well it's called "Me, Myself and Lies" by Jennifer Rothschild and boy is it a good one.  And talk about a LOT of work...good work, eternal work indeed.  One of the main verses she uses in the study is Philippians 4:8, so I decided to create some cute printables for my awesome group of wise women who are journeying through this study with me, as well as for you guys!  I did several different styles, so hopefully one will fit your style - Just click on the image and you'll be linked to the Google Doc where you can save and print - You can save and print for FREE until June 1!  And after that, you'll be able to find it on my Etsy shop!  Enjoy!

A New Year...

A New Year brings lots of excitement for me...a chance to start fresh, get some new ideas and start creating again.  Our Christmas was absolutely wonderful, and after all the time off to re-charge, I am renewed and inspired to get a start on this new year and hopefully roll out some new designs for my shop and start some blog work soon.

It's going to be a wonderful 2012, I know it!

Sugar Scrub and Free Printables!

If your making gifts this year, you may have been enticed, like me, to make homemade Sugar Scrubs.  I am hosting a Craft Brunch at my house this Saturday, and this will be one of the projects we will be creating.  I designed these cute tags below for the jars, so I thought I would share them with my readers as a FREE printable.  Here is my homemade recipe, Enjoy!!

{Sugar Scrub Recipe}
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup brown sugar, turbinado sugar or oatmeal
1/3 cup Kosher salt
1/3 cup Sunflower oil
8-10 drops Essential oil for fragrance

Mix dry ingredients together, then add oil and essential oil and mix until mixture is thoroughly combined. You may add more or less oil depending on your preference.  Scrub fills a 1/2 pint jar.  This is my own recipe based on a combination of other sugar scrub recipes.

A few new journals....

I am gearing up to create a LOT of new journals - will hopefully go to some good homes and make great gifts for the holiday season!  Here's a few I just completed....

Still here!

This month has come and gone and it has been busy!  I donated a few items to our Hems for Hearts Charity Auction a few weeks ago, and one piece in particular got a lot of attention....

I just love our metal heart pieces.  We have done a couple more this month, one which has already found a good home and one waiting to be listed!  We are also in the process of designing a line of metal monograms, so stay tuned!

My son, Liam, turns TWO next week, so I've also been busily getting party preparations made.  Hubby and I have been designing some lines of printable parties {that stemmed from designing ours for Liam's party}, so that will be something new we will be offering in the near future.  Lots of exciting things are happening!  Thanks for being a part of this dream!

Blessed

Can I just say how wonderfully blessed I am?  God is already using this business for his Kingdom purposes and I am so thankful...More, Lord, MORE!

Thoughts to ponder....

Thought I would cross post this blog post today from Jones Design Company.  I have only been a follower for a little while, but this post is so true, like she wrote it just for me, and I love how open and honest she is about blogs.  May you find it encouraging...and maybe even convicting, like I did =)
